Has it been a while since you've been scuba diving? Do you feel like your scuba skills and knowledge are a bit rusty? The Scuba Review Tune-up is just the refresher you need. It reacquaints you with diving so that you're back to feeling comfortable in the underwater world in less than a day. Brush up on your scuba knowledge and skills. Improve your diving ability, and get your  scuba gear  ready for  your next scuba vacation or diving holiday .

9:00am Meet Padi professional, review some paper work and we will go over the scuba knowledge you learned during your initial open water training. You will review:

•  Safe diving practices

•  Dive planning fundamentals

•  Problem management

•  Breathing air at depth

•  Recreational diving and dive tables: basic knowledge

•  Recreational diving and dive tables: dive planning

After you complete the knowledge assessment, you go through the Confined Water Skills Preview. You review information about each skill, why it's important, points to remember when performing the skill and a short video clip. Completing this section just before practicing is a great way to refresh your knowledge of how each skill is performed.

10:00am We will take you to the swimming school and complete the practical section of the program where we will help you brush up on your scuba skills in our purpose built swimming pool, tea or coffee and a warm towel served to you at the poolside.

Fun dive trips (2 Dives) 2200BHT

Enjoy the luxury of our air conditioned vessel The Samui Princess and visit the amazing dive sites of Koh Tao in style. We offer a flexible schedule to suit your needs. Come and discuss with our staff the best sites to visit and when you would like to visit them. As with all dive trips upon this vessel, complementary on board refreshments including sandwiches, fruit and cold drinks will be served, whilst you will be provided with a comfortable warm towel with which to dry yourself between dives.

Discover Scuba Diver 4,500 Bht 1 day

If you don't have the time for the full open water course, or aren't sure if scuba diving is for you, begin your scuba diving adventures with Montra Divers! You don't have to hesitate or worry, this program is designed to give you an easy introduction to the beauty of the underwater world.

Course Schedule

10:00am Begin your day meeting your PADI Instructor over a refreshing fruit juice, learn a few simple safe diving practices and equipment considerations before taking your first breaths underwater in our purpose built swimming pool. Take a break with complementary warm tea or coffee and a warm towel served to you at the poolside.

12:00pm Lunch break.

13:00pm Meet @ Lobby.

13:30pm Welcome aboard our exclusive vessel, ‘The Samui Princess.' We will take you to two Open Water divesites around the island where you can experience the freedom of weightlessness around the beautiful reefs of Koh Tao.

17:00pm Return to the Montra Resort with unforgettable memories of your day and a certificate to mark your acheivement!

Open Water Diver 12,800 Bht 3 ½ - 4 ½ Days

The Padi Open Water course leads to a full entry level certification on successful completion of the course. Once certified the Open Water level diver is qualified to dive independently within the limits of your training and experience to a maximum depth of 18m.

Course schedule

Day 1

15:00pm Meet your instructor over a refreshing fruit juice or coffee for your course orientation and paperwork. Watch a video presentation in the classroom , or if you prefer, for your convineince you can take the video and watch it in the comfort of your own room.

Day 2

9:00am Classroom/Academic presentation covering chapters 1, 3 and 3 of the Open Water Manual. Complementary fruit juice and coffee will be served during all academic sessions. Complete the session with three simple Quizes.

12:00pm Lunch break.

14:00pm Confined Water Practice. Learn the basics of using SCUBA equipment by practicing the twenty standard Open Water skills in our purpose built swimming pool. Hot or cold drinks will be served to you throughout the session.

17:00pm Finish your Day with a debrief from your instructor over a hot or cold drink at the poolside.

Day 3

9:00am Classroom/ Academic session covering academic sections four and Five, dealing with dive planning and safety.

11:30pm Lunch break.

13:00pm Meet @ Lobby

13:30pm Cruise to two Open Water dive locations aboard the samui Princess. Welcome to the underwater world, discover the beauty of our reefs with your instructor. Complementary on board refreshments including sandwiches, fruit and cold drinks will be served, whilst you will be provided with a comfortable warm towel with which to dry yourself between dives.

17:00pm Finish your Day with a debrief and log your dive from your instructor over a hot or cold drink back at the resort.

Day 4

7:40am Meet @ Lobby.

08:00am The Samui Princess will take you to two unforgettable dive sites for you to complete your Open Water Dives 3 and 4. Complementary on board refreshments including sandwiches, fruit and cold drinks will be served, whilst you will be provided with a comfortable warm towel with which to dry yourself between dives.

12:00pm return to Montra and lunch break

13:30pm Meet with your Instructor in the classroom to prepare for the Open Water Final Exam and certification paperwork. On completion you will be a certified Open Water Diver!

SCUBA DIVER 2 ½ Days 10,000 BHT

Designed for those wishing to obtain a PADI certification but without the time to complete the full Open Water Course, this program will allow you to dive to a maximum depth of 12m under the supervision of a PADI professional Divemaster or Instructor. The schedule is the same as the OW program without the final dives 3 and 4.

Advanced Open Water 2-3 Days 10,500 BHT

Get Deeper into your diving adventures and achieve the Advanced Open Water Certification with Montra Divers. The Advanced Course consists of five adventure dives. Each Adventure dive is an introduction to a new activity in Diving, there are many different types of dives to choose from, including Multilevel Diving, photography, Fish Identification, night diving and many more. There are two compulsory dives; Deep Dive and Navigation whilst the rest of the dives are elective meaning you choose which dives you want to complete.

Course schedule

Day 1

10:00am Meet Your Instructor for the Orientation and discuss which three elective dives you wish to complete along with the deep and navigation dives.

12:00pm Lunch break

13:00pm Meet @ Lobby.

13:30pm Cruise to two Open Water dive locations aboard the samui Princess and enjoy your first two adventure dives with your instructor. As with all dive trips upon this vessel, complementary on board refreshments including sandwiches, fruit and cold drinks will be served, whilst you will be provided with a comfortable warm towel with which to dry yourself between dives.

17:00pm Finish your Day with a debrief and log your dive from your instructor over a hot or cold drink back at the resort.

18:00pm Optional Night Dive (Recommended!) onboard the Samui Princess.

20:00pm Return to Montra Resort with a debrief and log your dive from your instructor over a hot or cold drink.

Day 2

07:40am Meet @ Lobby.

08:00am Two more Adventure dives including the deep 30m dive and one further elective dive.

12:30pm Return to the resort and lunch break.

14:00pm Meet with your instructor for debrief over a hot or cold drink, complete certification paperwork and Knowledge reviews, congratulations on attaining your new certification level of Advanced Open Water Diver.

Adventure Dives 3000 BHT 1 Day

For those without the time to complete the Full Advanced Course you can complete single Adventure Dives that will credit towards the full Advanced Certification in the future. Choose the Adventure Dive you are interested in and complete this dive on any fun dive trip. You will receive a full training certificate and log book details to ensure the validity of this dive.

Emergency First Response 1 day 4,500BHT

The Emergency first response program is a valuable course for both divers and non divers alike. You will learn important life saving techniques employed by emergency first responders worldwide. Hopefully you will never have to use the skills you learn here, however you can be secure in the knowledge that after this course you will be prepared and ready respond should you find yourself in a situation where a friend or family member needs your help. The course is also a pre-requisite for any divers wishing to take part in the rescue course.

As with all courses here at Montra divers the day will be spent in our modern air conditioned classrooms, where complementary soft drinks will be served.

Rescue Diver 3 days 11,500BHT

“Challenging” and “rewarding” best describe the PADI Rescue Diver course. Building upon what you've already learned, in previous PADI courses, this course expands on what you already know about how to prevent problems, and how to manage them if they occur. The fun part about this course is rising to challenges and mastering them. Most divers find this course both demanding and rewarding, and at the end, say it's the best course they've ever taken. You will learn valuable skills in problem prevention, Self rescue, Recognizing and managing stress in other divers, Emergency management; Rescuing panicked divers and Rescuing unresponsive divers.

9:00am Rescue Academic Session 3, 4 and 5.

13:30pm Depart From maehad pier for 2 open water rescue scenario training

with M/V ” Samui Princess” , Complementary on board refreshments including sandwiches, fruit and cold drinks will be served, whilst you will be provided with a comfortable warm towel with which to dry yourself between dives.

17:00pm Debrief and log your dive and back to resort.

Day 3

7:40am Meeting @ the Lobby.

8:00am Depart From maehad pier for 2 final open water rescue scenario training with M/V ” Samui Princess”, Complementary on board refreshments including sandwiches, fruit and cold drinks will be served, whilst you will be provided with a comfortable warm towel with which to dry yourself between dives.

12:30pm Return to the resort and lunch break.

13:30pm Debrief, log your dive and rescue final exam.

17:00pm Rescue Certified/Day Ends
